Gemini Spark was first announced at Google I/O 2026 as a 24/7 personal AI agent designed to execute ongoing, multi-step tasks autonomously in the cloud. ¹ 

Google has updated its AI personal agent, Gemini Spark, allowing it to manage user libraries directly in Google Photos.

Key Capabilities

Availability & Setup

• Rollout: Rolling out over several weeks to Gemini Pro and Ultra subscribers in the U.S. (English only).
  
  
• Requirements: Users must connect Google Photos to Gemini, toggle on Spark within the Gemini app, and enter their desired prompts.

Gemini Spark is an online-only cloud tool. It cannot be run locally on your machine.
