Leaked images of Lenovo's Googlebook 15 reveal hardware details
The Googlebook form factor is part of a new laptop line from Google. It echoes aspects of Chromebooks, but relies heavily on Gemini Intelligence combined with the best parts of Android, rather than ChromeOS.
This is matching China's move to new "Harmony OS" that is used for phones and PCs.
And that is different from Apple's specialized, while related OSs for different form factors.
And Microsoft is mostly "missing in action", even with porting of Windows on ARM.
In all this increasingly diverse environment, web-based apps are most promising, while also most hidden, since often packaged with "native shell" like Electron.
