Web Browser Security

Microsoft, Adobe Release Critical Security Updates @ InfoQ
"In the November 11 update MS14-065: Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer, Microsoft report that 17 security vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer are resolved, the most severe being a Remote Code Exploitation.

The buggy code is at least 19 years old and has been remotely exploitable for the past 18 years. Looking at the original release code of Windows 95, the problem is present."

With most modern computers are able to run virtual machines, even better "containers", so there is no good reason not to run web browsers in a VM,  insulated from the host computer. Why his is not already done is a puzzle.
Microsoft, you can do it!

Windows 8 (pro) comes with Hyper-V, and VirtualBox is free and available for all OSs... and there are VMs with ChromeOS or Firefox
