IIoT Vocabulary, Reference Architecture

This standardization, while useful, reminds me of  previous attempts:
ISO/OSI (TCP/IP won), SOAP (REST won), XML (JSON won), XMTML (HTML5 won)...
Simple(r) open implementations usually win on the the long run.
